What is profhilo?

Profhilo is an injectable skin treatment made from a high concentration of pure hyaluronic acid. Rather than adding volume like a filler, it spreads under the skin to hydrate it and support firmness and elasticity.

It's ideal for skin that has started to look dull, crepey or less firm. A standard course is two treatments four weeks apart, with a maintenance session every six months.

What to expect

1. A consultation to check suitability
2. Small injections at set points on each side of the face
3. Small bumps at the injection points usually settle within 24 hours
4. Skin starts to look more hydrated within a few weeks
5. A second treatment 4 weeks later completes the course

Aftercare

• Small bumps at the injection points are normal and settle within 24 hours
• Avoid makeup for 12 hours
• Avoid exercise, alcohol, saunas and facials for 24 to 48 hours
• Don't massage the area
• Book your second session for 4 weeks later
