Pigmentation and age spot treatment in Southport
Fade sun spots, age spots and uneven pigmentation for a clearer, more even complexion.
What is IPL pigmentation treatment?
IPL light is absorbed by excess pigment in the skin. The pigment darkens slightly, then works its way to the surface and flakes away over a week or two, leaving a more even tone.
It works well on sun spots, age spots and freckles on the face, hands and chest. Some types of pigmentation, such as melasma, need a different approach, which we'll discuss with you.

Can IPL treat melasma?
Melasma can be made worse by heat, so we'd recommend a different treatment. We'll advise you at consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Many spots fade after 1 to 3 sessions.
