What is semi-permanent eyeliner?

Semi-permanent eyeliner places pigment along the lash line to make lashes look thicker and eyes more defined. It can be a very subtle lash enhancement or a slightly bolder line, depending on what you like.

It's ideal if you wear eyeliner every day, have sensitive eyes that react to makeup, or find it hard to apply liner.

What to expect

1. A consultation and patch test, and choosing the style
2. Numbing is applied for comfort
3. Pigment is placed carefully along the lash line
4. Eyes may be a little puffy for a day
5. A top-up at 4 to 6 weeks perfects the result

Aftercare

• Mild swelling for 1 to 2 days is normal
• Avoid eye makeup, especially mascara, for about a week
• Don't rub the area or wear contact lenses until any swelling has settled
• Keep the area clean and dry, and avoid swimming and saunas for a week
